1. Barbados Island Tour, Monkey Feeding & Swimming with the Turtles
⭐️ 4.7/5 (254+ Reviews) | ⏳ 7 hours
If you want to immerse yourself in nature and Barbados’ wildlife, I highly recommend the tour I took in Barbados, which is the Barbados Island Tour, Monkey Feeding & Swimming with the Turtles.
The tour focuses mainly on wildlife, with an opportunity to see monkeys up-close at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve with time to watch them feed, admire the views from Cherry Tree Hill, have a delicious lunch in Bathsheba, and enjoy a short snorkelling cruise in Carlisle Bay.
The tour was enjoyable, the guide was terrific, and the food was good. Fortunately, the air conditioning worked great because it can get hot, and they divided us into two vans, so neither was very crowded.
On the snorkelling cruise, I saw one turtle, four shipwrecks, and a large school of fish. Although we were snorkelling with a large group, there was room in the water to spread out.
And the pace of the tour was perfect. I didn’t feel rushed at any point, which can be hard to pull off when you have so many activities and a larger group. I wanted to do their tour in Harrison’s Cave, the Best of Barbados Land and Sea, but it wasn’t available during my visit dates.
This is the only tour on this list with snorkelling, so if you want to snorkel then this is the tour for you.
“Perfect day! With pick ups and activities, we basically saw the whole island. Our whole family loved every bit – there was just enough time at each activity to enjoy what was happening but keep the excitement going. Winston was the best guide, making sure we were comfortable, enjoying each experience and sharing his endless knowledge about the history and geography. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour!” – Jennifer G (see more reviews)

This Barbados Full-day Private Tour is the ultimate private tour of the island, offering everything you could ever want.
The tour stops at places like Harrisons Cave Adventure Park, Animal Flower Cave, and other hidden gems around the island. Animal Flower Cave is really cool and not included on a lot of tours so it’s nice that this one includes it.
It’s a private tour, and while it is customizable, it’s recommended to follow the suggested itinerary as it’s what they deliver best on. This is the one the guide is most familiar with, and you’ll learn more about the island’s history and culture.
The tour is more comprehensive than other island tours, lasting 6-7 hours with 6 or 7 stops, depending on your preferences and the timing. So, if you only have one day to explore the entire island, this is the best Barbados island tour for you.
“This tour was the best part of my Barbados vacation. Ahmed was very knowledgeable and an excellent driver! He asked what I wanted to see most and made sure it happened. He gave me a 360° view of the island so I saw places i wouldn’t have known about had i not taken the tour. Barbados was my first solo trip and this was my 1st solo excursion and I was very nervous about it. I’m so glad I did it! Will definitely be back and will do this tour again! Thanks Ahmed for a great experience!” – Cheryl D (see more reviews)

4. Barbados Half Day Private Tour
⭐️ 5/5 (45+ Reviews) | ⏳ 4-5 hours
If you don’t have a full day or want to see a lot in a short amount of time, consider this Barbados Half Day Private Tour.
This tour lasts only 4-5 hours, but you’re still catching the best of Barbados, including the wildlife reserve, Hunte’s Botanical Gardens, St. Nicholas Abbey, and Harrison’s Cove Adventure Park.

I still recommend a longer tour because you’ll naturally be able to do more, but for some with a tighter schedule, this tour might be the perfect choice.
“Ahmed was an AMAZING tour guide!! We saw more in the half day tour than some people see in a full day tour. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and did a great job taking pictures of us at the landmarks along the way. This tour is definitely highly recommended.” – Tiffany J (see more reviews)

“What a fantastic experience! It was a fun packed adventure, with lots of laughs and spectacular views. This was the perfect way to explore the island. The food was very tasty and catered for my vegan request. The bajan treats were also a nice touch. I would highly recommended this tour/experience you get much more than what is advertised. Plenty of photo opportunities as well historical and trivial information about the island and the people who live on it. I was truly blown away, and would do it all again.” – Anneka D (see more reviews)
