Berlin Walking TourWhat better way to explore a historic city such as Berlin than with a walking tour guided by locals. Taking a walking tour will allow you to visit more sites in a shorter timeframe and learn the history and significance behind them. The free walking tour I recommend for Berlin is by Sandemans. You meet outside the Starbucks near Brandenburg Gate, and end the tour at Checkpoint Charlie. The tour includes some of the top Berlin attractions, such as Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall, the Site of Hitler’s Bunker, and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. A few items from the tour are highlighted more later in this itinerary. Potsdamer PlatzPotsdamer Platz is a well-known bustling public square in central Berlin.
